Why Vote Green?
▶ We work for local people and our planet: we share a deep concern for social, economic and environmental justice, both locally and globally.
▶ We can make change happen: we have 29 councillors spanning Town, District and County Council and are the largest party in multiple wards.
▶ We work the hardest for residents: we talk to residents, listen to their concerns and do our best to act on them. Our councillors have helped sort out everything from lost bins and fly-tipping to parking and planning problems.
▶ We have an independent voice: we vote for what we think is fair for our community, not what we are told to vote for by Westminster. We do not make decisions based on corporations giving us large donations in return for favourable policies.
▶ We work for future generations: faced with a climate emergency, we will work tirelessly on policies that will make a difference to the quality of life of your children, grandchildren and beyond.

Greens work hard to ensure everyone has access to local healthcare and shops, green spaces, healthy food and fairer, safer and stronger communities.
Greens are committed to ensuring environmentally-friendly housing is available for all, will build better quality homes, and preserve and enhance the local character of our district.
Greens work tirelessly to create better walking and cycling provision, and better public transport.
